Introduction
The Thot mechanism comprises a server and a client communicating
over the network. First, one launches a repository. One or more
repositories show up in the user interface when available. If no
repositories are available, one must be created for work to proceed.
Repository Selection
Here, available repositories are sensed and displayed in a list.
The list may be ordered by name or server. If a repository does
not show up here, it is not accessible. A new repository may be
added to the list or repositories may be managed.
At this window or command line invocation, it is also possible
to log in, configure servers, or quit outright.
From this point on, control transfers to workhorse aspects of Thot,
ranging from administration of the tool to full user activity of
participating in a game development community with other Thot users:
asset management, version control, workflow and workflow customization.
